Princess Kate, 41, and Prince William, 40, visited Birmingham on Thursday to celebrate the city's cultural diversity and heritage, and to meet future leaders in the creative industries.

Princess Kate was particularly surprised at the performance. She wore a mega chic burgundy Karen Millen dress that combined two completely different styles. The A-line dress paired a utility shirt-style bodice and super feminine pleated skirt.
The dress, worth around 260 euros, is now said to be completely sold out. The special eye-catcher of the dress, however, was the scooped neckline - a look that you almost never see with Kate. Did she want to make a statement?
Kate and William: First appearance after Easter
The royal couple began their visit by working at an Indian restaurant, where they met family and staff and tried out how to make roti, an Indian flatbread.
