• Queen Elizabeth's birthday would be April 21st
  • The royals remember her
  • But does Kate take a shot at Harry?

Queen Elizabeth died in 2022 at the age of 96. On April 21st, she would have celebrated her 97th birthday. On this day of honour, the royals can of course not miss the opportunity to commemorate their former head of state.

Kate commemorates the Queen: clap for Harry?

While the royal family's official Instagram account shares a photo of the radiant queen, Princess Kate (41) commemorates the monarch with a very personal post.

The post shows a snapshot of the Queen with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Kate's offspring Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince Louis (4). The photo was taken in Balmoral last summer.

Also interesting:

But is there a swipe at Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) behind the post? No trace can be seen of their two children Archie (3) and Lilibet (1) in the picture.

At the time the recording was made, Harry was probably at home in America with his family. Deliberate exclusion or not, it's no secret the royals' relationship remains strained.
