Elizabeth Alexandra Mary was born in London on April 21st, 1926 and that is when it all began. As the oldest daughter of King George VI and Elizabeth, Duchess of York, she became the first in the line of succession to the throne, which she inherited in 1953.
In 2022, the Queen marked her 70th year on the throne and her 96th birthday. She sadly passed away on September 8th, 2022 at the age of 96.
