• Prince William will soon be 40 years old
  • However, one person may be missing from the celebration
  • Prince Harry is said not to be invited

On June 21, there is a reason for joy in the British royal family, Prince William celebrates a milestone birthday. The Royal turns 40 years old on June 21st. However, a family member is reportedly not going to celebrate with the Duke of Cambridge on this special day. According to media such as Heat and the British Marie Claire, William's younger brother Prince Harry (37) won't even be invited to his birthday. The reason for this is probably the tense relationship between them in recent years.

Since Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan (40) announced their plans to step back from the British royal family in 2020, the brothers' relationship seems to be extremely tense. Especially after Harry and Meghan's interview with talk host Oprah Winfrey (68) in March 2021. Rumors regularly circulate that there is a serious crisis between the siblings.

Prince William's 40th birthday will probably take place without Prince Harry

Prince William takes his responsibilities as part of the royal family very seriously. After Prince Charles (73), he is in second in the line of succession to the British throne and will likely become King one day. He is, therefore, more dedicated to his duties as a future monarch and supports Queen Elizabeth II (95) more and more by taking on new tasks from her. Prince Harry, who now lives in the USA with Meghan and their two children Archie (2) and Lilibet, is hardly ever seen in England.

Also Interesting:

Harry is now reportedly not supposed to appear for his brother's 40th birthday in June. However, the royal should not have even been invited to do so. According to Heat magazine, William believes it could "bring a whole fresh set of problems" if Harry and Meghan join the celebrations.

Also, it was Harry's decision to miss the memorial service of his grandfather Prince Philip (†99) which taking part would have, in his opinion, caused even more problems between them. Whether Harry's appearance at his brother's birthday is actually unwanted has not yet been officially confirmed. So we could still be surprised if we see Prince Harry by his brother's side in England at the end of June.
