The UK is celebrating Allergy Awareness Week, which is why Sarah Ferguson's post with the founders of the charity Natasha Allergy Research Foundation comes at just the right moment.

Sarah Ferguson: "Making our world a safer place"

The Duchess of York captioned the post: "I am united with my good friends Tanya and Nadim in their battle against allergies," and added "during allergy awareness week it’s vital for us to remember the importance of their work."

"Tanya and Nadim founded the @natashasfoundation in memory of their darling daughter Natasha and are dedicated to finding a cure to allergies and making our world a safer place."

The Laperouse's daughter Natasha tragically died from anaphylaxis to sesame while travelling on a plane in 2016. Ever since, they have made it their mission to raise awareness about food allergies and to provide education and research for parents and children alike, who are not informed properly.
