• Prince George attended Wimbledon with William and Kate
  • He entertained the audience with funny faces
  • George was the only child allowed to sit in the stands

Prince George (8) was allowed to watch the final in Wimbledon alongside his parents on Sunday. The little royal amused the other viewers by making some funny faces – similar to his brother Prince Louis (4) most recently at the Platinum Jubilee.

An exception was made for Prince George at Wimbledon

But while Prince George's facial expressions were pretty funny, children aren't actually allowed to sit in the stands. The son of a friend of Duchess Kate (40) was denied access to the royal box and even a request from Kate couldn't change the Wimbledon rule:

"Because of demand for space in the royal box, we also ask that, apart from children of the royal family, children are not invited as they exclude other worthy people from attending, many of whom contribute to tennis," said club chairman John Curry in his apology to Duchess Kate.
