It's been over a week since the Queen has announced the official statement in regards to Harry and Meghan stepping down as senior members of the British Royal Family. The Sussexes will lose their HRH titles, pay back the money for the Frogmore Cottage renovations and no longer receive public funding.
Prince William is appointed a new title
Just yesterday, the Queen has announced that Prince William will be receiving a new title: William will be the new Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. The Duke of Cambridge will become the British monarch’s personal representative to the Church of Scotland in this new position.
Prince William is taking over this position from "from Richard Scott, the 10th Duke of Buccleuch and 12th Duke of Queensberry. Before Scott, Princess Anne held the position," according to People.
