Prince William and Duchess Kate went on a royal tour together back in March. The couple spent several days in the Caribbean islands, and now the royal family photographer Matt Porteous has published very private insights into their trip on Instagram.

Prince William and Duchess Kate hold hands on the plane

The post shows a summary of the biggest highlights of their trip. Videos and pictures show the royal couple making public appearances in Jamaica, among others. But there are also some more intimate moments captured as well. One photo shows William and Kate upon arrival, holding hands familiarly on the plane.

These tender gestures are rarely seen from them, as William and Kate usually adhere to royal etiquette in public— loving gestures are actually considered to be taboo. The other pictures also show that William and Kate enjoyed their trip. Snapshots show the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge seeming natural and happy at various receptions, proving that royal commitments can be fun.

Also interesting:

Interestingly enough, William and Kate aren't the only royals who have been spotted openly showing affection as of late! Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan recently travelled to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, and the couple made headlines for their romantic gestures. Harry and Meghan were even seen sharing a kiss on stage while presenting at an event!
