Singer Camila Cabello recently visited Kensington Palace to celebrate this year's Teen Hero Awards finalists. She got to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, which was a great honour for her. However, she revealed during a BBC Radio 1 interview that she stole a pencil from Kensington Palace!

Camila Cabello: "triple doggy dared"

Cabello admitted she was "triple doggy dared" to steal something by BBC host Greg James. During the recent interview, James recalled, "We’re about to meet William and Kate and I said, ‘Steal something.’ I said, ‘Steal that pencil,'" and the singer just couldn't resist. Apparently after the pencil-stealing-act, James proceeded to throw Cabello under the bus.

Camila Cabello still has the pencil

"And then you, to one of the palace people, called me out on it and you were like, ‘She stole a pencil!’ And I was like, ‘Oh my god.' I put it in my mom’s purse, and my mom’s like, ‘We have to give it back!’ and I’m like, ‘No, he triple doggy dared me, I have to take the pencil!'" Camila said, noting that she proudly still has the pencil today.

Kensington Palace responded to the tweet with the recent interview, poking fun at the situation. The caption read, "I am sorry William and I am sorry Kate" to which the Kensington Royal official twitter account tweeted back a pair of eyes emoji acknowledging that they were very much aware of the stolen pencil!
