90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans have been surprised by some of the men this season, considering how much we loved them last season. Adorable Asuelo had disappointed fans with his misogynistic statements about mothers and now lovable Jihoon has surprised fans too!

Jihoon Has To Face The Music In 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way

Monday's episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way was filled with tension between 30-year-old Jihoon and his wife 23-year-old Deavan. Deadpan Deavan was the less favorable of the couple compared to last season but now the tides have turned now that Jihoon has been caught in many lies!

According to Devean, she has been almost single-handedly raising their newborn son 1-year-old Taeyang and financially providing for him and her daughter Drascilla. She had moved once to Korea to be a united family but has since moved back to the US after Jihoon did not step up to the plate and find work to provide for the family. Now she has given him another chance and has believed him when he told her he had a job and would provide a good life for the four of them in Korea.

Deavan had booked and paid for the first month of an apartment in Korea from all the way in Utah and Jihoon was supposed to have it ready for when her family arrived. He had not even seen the apartment, cleaned it, or prepared any food or anything. Devean had brought her feisty and unlikable mother Elisa along who voiced how severely disappointed she was with Jihoon and their living situation and that she hoped he would "step up and be a man." Even Jihoon's parents voiced their continued disappointment with Jihoon's lack of effort.

Jihoon admitted to his wife that he had dropped the ball on the apartment and he felt he would cry because he had disappointed everyone. Devean said she would not stay in this apartment to which Jihoon begged her to stay and that he would find them a better situation. Finally, Jihoon confessed the reality of the situation to Devean via the translator app and said he is still in debt from his criminal history of selling stolen iPhones and did not have a job. He simply told Devean he did so that she would come back to Korea "fast."

Jihoon again made promises to rectify the situation and begged her to try and stay in Korea for a few months and if they still had financial issues she could return home. Deaven was justifiably upset and said he had not helped her in any way even though she had packed up her whole life to move there and said she would leave Korea when her mother leaves and that she does not "want to be together" considering how many lies he told her.

Jihoon has been defending himself on Instagram to fans who are voicing their anger towards Jihoon's lack of responsibility and has claimed he does in fact now have a job. He is stating that even though the show is airing now, and "The show is in the past. I've said countless times that I have a job. My job is to deliver food. I earn enough money to take care of my family."

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans will have to wait until the next episode to see if the two in fact still are together and if Deavan will have kept to her word and left Korea or not.
