Danielle Brisebois turned 51 years old this year. After time as "Stephanie," the child actress retired in favour of a career in music. She's released solo albums, worked with the band New Radicals, and written songs for artists and films. Brisebois has largely been away from acting following occasional work in the 1990s.

The "Jeffersons" were another great part of All in the Family, before they also began their own long-running sitcom in 1975. Sherman Hemsley played "George," the "Jefferson" patriarch, who also conflicted with "Archie" on a regular basis.

In addition to All in the Family, Hemsley starred as "George" on The Jeffersons through 1985. Thereafter, he led NBC's Amen and reunited with co-star Sally Struthers on Dinosaurs. Born in 1938, Hemsley kept at it into the 21st century, making several appearances in projects as late as 2011. He passed on in 2012 at the age of 74.

Married to Sherman Hemsley's "George Jefferson" was "Louise," portrayed by actress Isabel Sanford. She likewise moved to The Jeffersons for its full 11-season run after fans saw her first on All in the Family.

As "Louise 'Weezy' Jefferson," Sanford made history in 1981 as only the second Emmy-winning Black actress. Post-All in the Family and The Jeffersons, the actress shifted to TV guest roles and her own short-lived sitcom. She also had her TV legacy celebrated with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2004, the same year she later passed away at age 86.

Mike Evans played "Lionel Jefferson," the son of "George" and "Louise." He had the most All in the Family episodes outside of the main four stars—frequently conversing with "Archie"—and acted for a few seasons on The Jeffersons as well. The spin-off was one of his final screen roles, returning for The Jeffersons' 1985 finale after a four-year absence. Sadly, in 2006, Evans died of throat cancer at age 56.
