Despite all of the excitement and rampant anticipation the show has generated in recent times, it will be tough to know how fans will react to the new season. Now the mood is clouded, because news reveal that the cast has been changed. "Daphne Bridgerton", played by Phoebe Dynevor, will definitely not return to the series.

Her on-screen husband "Simon Basset", played by Regé-Jean Page, disappeared after the first season. But that's not all: Ruby Stokes, who played "Francesca Bridgerton", is also being replaced.
