Dakota Johnson wants Alfred Hitchcock held accountable for his mistreatment of Tippi Hedren.

Hedren, who is the grandmother of the Suspiria and 50 Shades actress, was the star of Hitchcock films The Birds and Marnie. However, the 91-year-old later accused Hitchcock of sexual assault and ruining her career after she rejected his advances in the 1960s.

Dakota Johnson on Alfred Hitchcock mistreating Tippi Hedren

Johnson spoke about Hitchcock's alleged cruelty toward her grandmother in a new talk with THR. She said Hedren has encouraged her acting career despite her own experiences and tells her to be "honest and firm about standing up for yourself."

Despite Hedren's strength today, Johnson added that Hitchcock "terrorized" her and "was never held accountable" for it. His reputation remains largely unscathed in spite of Hedren's troubling claims.
