Fun Facts About 'Money Heist'

Intended to be a limited series with only two seasons, Money Heist was picked up by Netflix from a Spanish TV show and is now the most-viewed non-English language program on the streaming service, let alone one of the most-watched overall.

Did you know that the heist mask design is based on painter Salvador Dali's face? The fifth and final season wrapped filming in May 2021, with the first half of the episodes being released in September of that year and the rest in December.
