The sun will soon be setting on Hawaii Five-0 after ten very successful seasons, and the emotional and reflective promo for the series finale released by CBS already has us missing "McGarrett" (Alex O'Loughlin), "Danny" (Scott Caan) and the all the others.
Hawaii Five-0 star Katrina Law: "There are going to be a lot of tears shed..."
Old and new faces are featured in the amazing teaser trailer, and it promises to be quite the event on Friday April 3. What we know already about the two-hour series finale is that cast members James Marsters ("Victor Hesse"), William Sadler ("John McGarrett") and Mark Dacascos ("Wo Fat") are all making a final appearance.
Katrina Law, who plays "Sergeant Quinn Liu", recently told TVLine the following about the finale: "There are going to be a lot of tears shed, for many reasons," Law said. "I know the fans are sad to see this iconic show going and having this be the final season... "
She continues: "But then on a personal level, we have this beautiful ending scene in which [showrunner] Peter Lenkov and the writers really gave the actors freedom to kind of say what they want and just left it open."
But there's also some fun to look forward to for all fans of Hawaii Five-0: "Besides the tears, it is so action-packed and just chock full of fun," Katrina Law added. "So, before you get to those tears, you're going to go for a very emotional, action-packed ride."
It's sad to see this amazing show go, but we are looking forward to the finale! The final two episodes of Hawaii Five-0 will air on Friday April 3 at 9pm (8 central) on CBS!
