'iCarly'

iCarly was an instant hit on Nickelodeon when it premiered in September 2007. The sitcom followed "Carly," a teenage girl who creates a web show. Teaming up with her friends "Sam" and "Freddie" and her brother "Spencer," "Carly" ends up having all sorts of crazy adventures as her videos take off.

Over a decade after the series ended, you might wonder what its main cast is up to! Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, and Nathan Kress became widely known for starring as their characters, but would you recognize them now? Check out our gallery and click through the slides to see what the cast looks like today!

Miranda Cosgrove

Miranda Cosgrove may still look a lot like her younger self, but she's is all grown up! Since her iCarly days, Cosgrove has become known for voicing "Margot" in the Despicable Me movies, and appeared in several shows, music videos, and films. Recently, she reprised her role as "Carly" in the 2021 iCarly reboot, along with one of her co-stars from the original series...

Nathan Kress

Nathan Kress is also in the iCarly reboot with Cosgrove, once again playing "Freddie"! Years after the original show ended, the actor has had several voice acting gigs as well as small roles in television series and movies. He's also started his own family! Kress married wife London in 2015, and they have two daughters together, Rosie and Evie.

Jennette McCurdy

Jennette McCurdy became known for playing "Sam" on iCarly, but chose to step away from acting in 2018. During a podcast interview with Anna Faris, she admitted that she was "embarrassed" by her career. However, that doesn't mean she's avoided the spotlight altogether! The actress performed a one-hour, one-woman comedy show in September called I'm Glad My Mom Died, which her website says is about "why my mom’s death went from being the worst thing that ever happened to me to the best."

Jerry Trainor

Jerry Trainor became known to iCarly fans as "Spencer" before he went on to play "Wendell Bassett" in another kids' sitcom, Wendell and Vinnie, in 2013. Since then, he has followed a similar career to some of his co-stars, taking on small voice roles and bit parts in many different shows and films. He also plays bass guitar in a four-piece band called Nice Enough People. And like Cosgrove and Kress, he has since returned to his role in the iCarly reboot!

Noah Munck

Noah Munck played "Carly's" nemesis "Gibby" in iCarly. After a failed attempt to launch a series centered on the character following the end of the show, he appeared in a handful of miscellaneous projects. His next big break came when he was cast as "'Naked' Rob Smith" in the family sitcom series The Goldbergs in 2014— a role he continues to play to this day.
