'Tiger King': "Joe Exotic" Wants Brad Pitt Or "Joe Dirt" To Play Him In Potential Biopic

Netflix's 'Tiger King': Filmmakers Tell All, Give Sad Update On The Tigers In New Interview

Edward Norton and Dax Shephard have expressed their interest on playing Joseph Maldonado-Passage, aka "Joe Exotic" in a potential film about his life. However, the Tiger King star has just revealed he wants either Brad Pitt or David Spade to portray him!

Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin, the filmmakers behind Netflix' docuseries Tiger King, revealed that Joseph-Maldonado Passage, aka "Joe Exotic" wants either Brad Pitt or David Spade to play him in a potential film adaptation of his life story!

"Joe Exotic" had a very specific request though, he doesn't want any David Spade to portray him but Joe Dirt David Spade. "He doesn’t refer to David Spade as David Spade — he refers to him as ‘Joe Dirt,'” said Chaiklin.

"Joe Exotic" has not watched his own show

Former Oklahoma tiger breeder is really aware of his fame now. Although he has not watched his seven-part TV show yet, he has received hundreds of emails to his prison mail since the show premiered. Numerous actors have expressed their wish of portraying him in an eventual biopic, including Edward Norton and Dax Shephard.
