'Fool Me Once': Meet The Cast Of Netflix Show

'Fool Me Once' has just arrived on Netflix, showcasing a gripping mystery with a stellar British cast. This eight-part series follows a family grappling with two murders and the shocking aftermath. Based on Harlan Coban's 2016 novel, it's Netflix's first big release of 2024.

Michelle Keegan stars as "Maya Stern" in 'Fool Me Once'. At the beginning of the series, "Maya" is mourning her husband's death. However, everything changes when she sees him on a personal security camera, leading her to question what really happened.

Richard Armitage stars as "Joe Burkett" in 'Fool Me Once'. Known for his roles in the 'Hobbit' trilogy, Netflix's 'Castlevania', and 'Into the Storm', Armitage portrays "Maya Stern's" husband. "Joe's" mysterious murder sets the series in motion, but his unexpected return complicates matters for "Maya".

Joanna Lumley plays "Judith Burkett", the strong-willed mother of "Joe", portrayed by Richard Armitage, in 'Fool Me Once'. "Judith", who hails from the wealthy Burkett family, has had ongoing conflicts with "Maya", played by Michelle Keegan, especially after her son's untimely demise. Lumley is known for her roles in 'The Wolf of Wall Street', 'Absolutely Fabulous', and 'Tim Burton's Corpse Bride'.

Adeel Akhtar plays "Sami Kierce" in 'Fool Me Once'. "Sami" is a detective investigating "Joe's" supposed murder. However, when "Joe" unexpectedly reappears after being presumed dead, "Sami's" investigation takes a surprising turn. Akhtar is also known for his roles in 'Four Lions', 'The Big Sick', and 'Enola Holmes'.

Dino Fetscher portrays "Marty McGreggor" in 'Fool Me Once', a charismatic London police officer.

"Marty" teams up with Adeel Akhtar's "Sami" to investigate "Joe's" murder, but his upbeat personality clashes with "Sami's" demeanor. Fetscher's credits include roles in 'Foundation', 'Years and Years', and 'Humans'.

"Eddie Walker," portrayed by Marcus Garvey, is "Claire's" grieving husband. Despite being "Maya's" brother-in-law, he doesn't see things the same way as the series' main character. He's also "Abby's" father. During one of "Abby's" soccer games, he confronts "Maya", warning her to stay away from his family because he believes "death follows" her. Garvey has appeared in 'Four Lions', 'Broadchurch', and 'Stella'.

"Caroline Burkett", played by Hattie Morhan, is "Joe's" sister and a member of the wealthy Burkett family. Though not as manipulative as her mother, she seems to be concealing something, causing "Maya" to suspect her involvement in her husband's murder. Hattie Morahan is known for her roles in Disney's live-action 'Beauty and the Beast', 'The Bank Job', and 'Mr. Holmes'.

In the series, Dänya Griver portrays "Abby Walker," "Maya's" niece. Although "Abby's" role isn't prominent, she is featured playing at a soccer game attended by "Maya", where a confrontation with "Abby's" father, "Eddie", unfolds. Griver's previous TV credit includes 'Malory Towers'.
