There hasn't been much good news for NCIS fans this week! After it was confirmed by long-time cast member Sean Murray that the show has halted production because of the coronavirus pandemic and season 17 will be cut short to only 20 episodes, CBS decided to only air a rerun of season 17's episode 2 on Tuesday night.

But we actually have some good news today: On Tuesday March 24, fans of the popular CBS drama NCIS finally get to see a new episode! WARNING: If you are not caught up on season 17 of NCIS, do not read any further!

NCIS Season 17 Episode 18: "Sloane" has a surprise visitor

In the new episode, the team investigates the death of a well-regarded Navy technician whose body is found floating in a lake. In the first promo, we can see an agitated "Gibbs" (Mark Harmon) ordering "Bishop" (Emily Wickersham) and "McGee" (Sean Murray) to find out more about it.

NCIS' new episode 18 will also give some insight into "Sloane's" (Maria Bello) personal life, as her daughter "Faith" (Kate Hamilton) makes a return to the show. She catches her mother off-guard and asks something unexpected of her.
