"We had a hell of a fun time making it. There were a lot of laughs," he said to the outlet.

The next part, well, let's just say it's making the beloved fantasy nerds everywhere get giddy with excitement!

"The way that I've been describing it, it's like Game of Thrones mixed with a little Princess Bride, just a smidge of [Monty Python and the] Holy Grail; it’s somewhere in that ballpark," he said. Uh, what!? That pretty much sounds like the best film adventure lovers could conjure up!

Pine continued to tease the new film and shared that he's pretty proud of what they've done!

"My character, he’s the ultimate party planner. I think it’s going to be really good," he said. "I think we got a good shot and [producers] John and John are killer guys."

He continued, "They know comedy and they know heart and we had a great cast and we had a good time making it. And that’s all you can ask for."

Pine also compared the film to feeling Goonies-like, which would be fitting since the game really kicked off in the mainstream in the 1980s.

Dungeons & Dragons hit a resurgence of players a few years back when Netflix's hit series Stranger Things streamed. The thriller, which is set in the '80s, drew tons of inspiration from the game, and featured the beloved characters rolling that 20-sided dice that sealed their fate!

The film is set to be released in March 2023.
