Law & Order: SVU is heading towards its 24th season. The new season will premiere in the US in the fall. Familiar characters like Captain "Olivia Benson" (Mariska Hargitay) and investigator "Amanda Rollins" (Kelli Giddish) are set to return. Fans can also look forward to a new addition to the team.

Law & Order: SVU: Molly Burnett joins the team as Detective "Grace Muncy"

As TVLine reports, Molly Burnett (34) will join the series as Detective "Grace Muncy". We already know Molly from Queen of the South and General Hospital. She also has experience with crime series through CSI: Cyber.

She is also a singer and has been nominated for an Emmy several times for her role in Days Of Our Lives. 

Not much is known about her role as "Grace". According to TVLine, the police officer has experience with gang crimes and is said to be "smart" and "blunt".

We can't wait for the new season!
