But the Are You Afraid of the Dark? reboot is now confirmed to be returning for a second season. A new cast is expected for season 2.

In the original Are You Afraid of the Dark?, a group of teenagers called "The Midnight Society" told horror stories that formed the episodes.
In the reboot, the "Society" is involved in the stories themselves.
