The original series followed “Punky” who after being abandoned by her mother in a shopping center, is raised by foster father “Henry Warnimont” and has fun with her friends “Cherie” and “Margaux”.
In this new streaming reboot, “Punky” is now a divorced mother of three, one biological daughter and two adopted sons living in the same apartment she did when she grew up in Chicago.
