The epic movie Saving Private Ryan will be returning to theaters in the summer of 2019, marking the 75th anniversary of the invasion of Normandy by U.S. troops and its allies.
The WWII epos follows Tom Hanks as Captain "John Miller" from D-Day onwards as he heads up a mission to find and extract Private First Class "James Ryan" (Matt Damon), the only surviving brother of four serving in the war. The 1998 movie was loved by fans as well as critics and won Steven Spielberg an Academy Award as best director as well as 4 more nominations.
