Corin Nemec, who became famous for his role in 'Parker Lewis,' wasn't really able to star in other movies or TV shows. He went on to work as a writer for shows like 'Smallville' and 'CSI: Miami,' but Nemec was never really able to get his big breakthrough. In 2013 Corin Nemec got into a pretty big accident whilst filming for 'Poseidon Rex' and was therefore not able to get the leading role.

Don S. Davis actually passed away from a heart attack in 2008. The producers of the show decided to say goodbye to his character as well and even named the next "Stargate" spaceship in his honor.
