• 'Stranger Things' had production problems
  • One performer started farting
  • This led to a stop in filming

Excuse me? The 'Stranger Things' set had to be evacuated due to a star's severe flatulence! This was revealed by 'Stranger Things' creators Matt and Ross Duffer in a column for 'Entertainment Weekly' in 2016.

Filming stops on 'Stranger Things'

During the filming of the seventh episode, one star had his intestinal gases released.

"We're shooting a scene on an abandoned bus and one of the guys decides to fart. More than once. It got so toxic on the bus that the crew had to be temporarily evacuated," the brothers say.

"The next day we gave a pep talk that basically boiled down to, 'We're close to the end. Keep the ball rolling. Let's bring this home.' (...) After our little speech, the guys pulled themselves together, shouted 'Focus!" and gave one of their best and most emotional performances in the series," they continue.

This made Matt and Ross Duffer "very proud", as they wrote further. With the fifth season of 'Stranger Things', one of Netflix's most popular series comes to its well-earned end. The release date of the finale is still uncertain due to the strike in Hollywood.
