The Undoing will run for six episodes in May. It stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant as a married couple whose lives are altered by a disturbingly violent death.

HBO describes the series as follows: "Life for a successful therapist begins to unravel on the eve of publishing her first book. It is now down to her to create a new life for herself and her son."

Nicole Kidman reunites with Big Little Lies creator

The Undoing is another collaboration between David E. Kelley and Nicole Kidman, who together brought the miniseries Big Little Lies to HBO. Kelley wrote and adapted The Undoing for HBO as well. It's based on the novel "You Should Have Known" by Jean Hanff Korelitz.

The Undoing will be limited to six episodes. It premieres on May 10, 2020.

HBO offered still images from the show on its Instagram account back in January. You can see them below. Along with the photos, the official trailer is now giving a more complete picture of what to expect from the series.
