The White Lotus was one of last year's most popular new television series, and it has been announced that one of its original stars will be featured when it returns! On Monday, HBO revealed that Jennifer Coolidge will be part of season 2, and that's not the only new information the network shared.

The White Lotus season 2: here's what we know so far

The White Lotus premiered on HBO Max in July 2021, featuring an ensemble cast of stars playing eccentric guests at a resort in Hawaii. Coolidge starred as "Tanya McQuoid" in the first season, and her character quickly became a fan favourite. "A world-class VIP," HBO wrote in an Instagram post about Coolidge's return.

Coolidge was nominated for both a Golden Globe and an SAG Award for her portrayal of "Tanya". It's uncertain if she will be reprising this role in the second season or have a brand-new character, since HBO shared that the show has also started filming in a brand-new locale— meaning a potential new group of resort guests! "We look forward to welcoming guests in Sicily soon," they shared in another social media post.
