This Is Us is officially starting to wrap up the story of the "Pearson" family. A new trailer for the critically acclaimed NBC drama was released on Thursday, and it includes some clips from the show's upcoming sixth and final season.

This Is Us sees "Rebecca" struggle with memory loss

This Is Us first introduced viewers to "Jack," "Rebecca," and the rest of the "Pearson" clan in 2016. Viewers all around the world became invested in the fictional family, tuning in to see what each week would bring them. An intergenerational story that also spans quite a few years, This Is Us has become known for its an often tearjerking moments, and based on the first look at season 6, it looks like the show's final season will be no exception.

One of the primary arcs appears to be "Rebecca" coming to terms with the fact that she is experiencing memory loss. The trailer shows her thinking aloud about what this means for her, saying that she's "not worried about forgetting about the big stuff, it's the little things I'm not ready to let go." In another sequence, her now-late husband "Jack" tells her that their kids "are old enough to start making memories" themselves.
