Wizards of Waverly Place was one of the most popular Disney channel shows for several years, but you might wonder what has become of the cast today! Jake T. Austin became known for playing youngest sibling "Max Russo" on Wizards of Waverly Place, and later ended up landing a regular role on another family-centred show! Austin starred as "Jesus Adams Foster" in The Fosters for several years. He has also had several acting and voice acting roles, and can next be seen playing "Lars" in the crime thriller Adverse, which is slated for release this year.

Selena Gomez may have gotten her start as middle child "Alex Russo" on Wizards of Waverly Place, but her career has only taken off since then! Best known as a pop star, Gomez has released several albums and EPs, including the Spanish-sung Revelación in 2021. She has gone on to star in and produce many projects, including cooking show Selena + Chef as well as the recent Disney+ series Only Murders in the Building, where she plays "Mabel Mora". Gomez has also been open about her health after her lupus diagnosis in 2014, and has a beauty line called Rare Beauty.

David Henrie, who played oldest sibling "Justin Russo" on Wizards of Waverly Place, has taken on various acting roles over the years. In 2020, he also wrote and directed his first feature film This Is the Year, which his former co-star Gomez produced. Henrie has taken on two new exciting roles in his personal life as well, now becoming a dad and as a husband! In April 2017, Henrie married wife Maria Cahill, and the couple has since welcomed two children— daughter Pia and son James.

Maria Canals-Barrera played mom "Theresa Russo" on Wizards of Waverly Place, which remains the role she's best known for! While she played the role of "Daniela" in the 2014 sitcom Cristela, the series was short-lived, and she has only had small parts in various film and television projects since. She can next be heard voicing "Sunset Boulevardez" in the upcoming Disney+ animated series The Proud Family: Loud and Proud, and has featured roles in the films Keep Moving and #FBF.

David DeLuise played sub shop owner and dad "Jerry Russo" on Wizards of Waverly Place, and has continued to have a career as an actor, director, and producer! In 2020, DeLuise directed and produced the Audible series Grandma for President, where he also voiced the dad. He has also been seen with one-episode stints in shows like NCIS, Shameless, and Home Economics. DeLuise is set to star in the upcoming plane-set thriller Layover, playing the role of "Ethan".

Jennifer Stone played "Alex's" quirky best friend "Harper Finkle" on Wizards of Waverly Place, and has gone on to manage balancing careers in two different fields! As Stone has mentioned on her social media profiles, she is both an actress and a registered nurse, outspoken about how her Type 1 diabetes diagnosis influenced her career path. Stone graduated from nursing school in 2019, taking on an important role as a frontline worker during the pandemic. While she hasn't had a major acting role since 2015, playing the "Babysitter" in the children's miniseries Deadtime Stories, she is set to play "Sloane" in a new film titled The Perfect Night.
