The holiday season comes and goes, but true holiday classics (or not) still remain. With Christmas just around the corner, we decided to put together a list of the not-so-great holiday films that are out there so maybe you can avoid disappointment...

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: These are the best Christmas hits of all time!

From unfunny Christmas comedies like Christmas with the Kranks to down-right terrible B-list movies like Santa with Muscles... Here are the 12 worst holiday movies of all-time!

The worst Christmas movies of all time:

Four Christmases (2008) starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn just doesn't seem to sit right...

Jack Frost (1998) starring Michael Keaton is rather horrifying if you really stop and think about it. A snowman that is the spirit of your late father? Creepy.

The Nutcracker in 3D (2010) starring Elle Fanning. Just not great execution by everyone on this one...

Surviving Christmas (2004) stars Ben Affleck in this rom-com. The cast is great, but the script is rather weak.

Black Christmas (2007) is a remake of the 1974 slasher film and just doesn't really do anything for us.

Deck the Halls (2006) starring Matthew Broderick and Danny Devito just missed the mark with a not so entertaining script.

Elves (1989) is just a weird holiday horror film that follows a group of Nazis. Enough said.

Santa with Muscles (1996) stars Hulk Hogan and is basically one of the worst cinematic disasters in history... Stay away!

Santa Claus (1959) is a Mexican fantasy film mixed with outer space... That's about all you need to know.

Christmas with the Kranks (2004) is the Christmas comedy with Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis and unfortunately, it's a little chaotic... and predictable.

Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 (1987) is a sequel to Silent Night, Deadly Night, and is just as bad as its title.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964) is a sci-fi fantasy film that is not only considered one of the worst holiday films ever but one of the worst films ever made.

We would recommend you try and avoid these holiday films this Christmas season... if you can! Try watching one of the best Christmas movies of all time!
