A song from Tina Turner's iconic album 'Private Dancer' (1984) that was thought to be lost has resurfaced! The track, "Hot For You, Baby", was first presented to the public in mid-January on the 'BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show'. Originally recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood and produced by John Grant, the song was penned by Australian musicians George Young and Harry Vanda.

Tina Turner's version of the song was ultimately not included in the final album 'Private Dancer'. But the master tapes were recently rediscovered when her label put together a 40th-anniversary version of the album. This special edition, released on March 21, promises an impressive collection of previously unreleased tracks, live recordings and footage to honor Turner's legacy.

The release of 'Private Dancer (40th Anniversary Edition)' brings Tina Turner's musical legacy back into the spotlight. This limited edition will be available as a 5 CD/Blu-ray set and includes the re-edited 55-minute concert from the "Private Dancer Tour" filmed at the NEC in Birmingham in March 1985.
After Turner's death in May 2023, her musical legacy was celebrated with the release of 'Queen of Rock 'n' Roll', a collection of all her singles from 1975 to 2023. The musician had a lasting influence on the genre and is still considered one of the best female singers of all time.
