Following the appearance, the Daily Mail spoke with several specialists who had not treated Lima. After reviewing photos, they did not consider surgery the most likely explanation. Instead, they cited weight loss, dissolved fillers, and skin-tightening treatments as possible factors behind her more defined facial contours.
One surgeon pointed to her high cheekbones, the hollow area beneath them, a sharper jawline, and natural-looking lips. According to the assessment, lighting and makeup could also have contributed to how her features appeared in recent photos.
Specialists Also Explained Possible Treatments in General Terms
The doctors also described procedures that can generally create more facial definition. According to them, fillers can restore volume and accentuate contours, but they cannot replace a facelift when significant skin laxity is present.
A facelift can address the jawline and so-called “jowls,” while Botox can help reduce the appearance of certain expression lines. For skin texture, fine lines, and some pigmentation concerns, they discussed laser treatments and chemical peels.
