Ben Stiller, is an Emmy Award-winning American actor, comedian, film producer, and director. He is known for his roles in the films There's Something About Mary, Zoolander, Meet the Parents, and A Night at the Museum. He is the son of actors and comedians Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara and brother of fellow actress Amy Stiller.

From director to making people laugh in front of the camera

Stiller directed Reality Bites and The Cable Guy. He later set aside his directing ambitions to star in There's Something About Mary, which launched Stiller's acting career to fame. Another attempt as a director came in 2001 with Zoolander, which was quite well received, showing that you could be a star in front of and behind the camera.

Hollywood star who doesn't forget his beginnings

Although Stiller is best known for his film roles, he has appeared in several sitcoms such as Friends in episode 22 of the third season called "The One with the Screamer" in which he played "Tommy", "Rachel's" screaming boyfriend. In recent years he has made notable cameos in hit series such as Arrested Development, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
