While she was at the pinnacle of her career, in 2017 Cameron Diaz announced her retirement from acting, stating exhaustion from all of the travel that comes with filming. Her last released film was in 2014 in the film adaptation of the popular children's musical Annie.

While we miss Cameron on the screen, we respect her decision as it has allowed her to spend more quality time with her husband, Good Charlotte singer Benji Madden and their daughter! We can only hope that she may one day return to acting, and we will forever remember her impressive career that started with Cameron Diaz in The Mask.
