Ginnifer Goodwin was born May 22nd, 1978 in Memphis, Tennessee to a humble Jewish family. She majored in theater and earned her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Boston University and studied at the Shakespeare Institute.

Once Upon a Time's Ginnifer Goodwin

Ginnifer first made it onto the screen in small roles on Law & Order, and Win a Date With Tad Hamilton before Hollywood realized her potential and cast her in bigger roles. She landed a starring role alongside acting great Bill Paxton in the HBO series about a polygamous family, Big Love. She even won the People's Choice Award for Breakout Movie Actress for her role as naive "Gigi" in the hit film He's Just Not That Into You

In 2011 she struck gold in more ways than one when she earned a starring role in the ABC fantasy series Once Upon A Time. On the incredibly popular show, she portrayed "Snow White" alongside Josh Dallas who played "Prince Charming". Josh Dallas and Ginnifer actually fell in love, married, and had 2 children together during the filming of the series! Ginnifer married her own real-life "Prince Charming"!

Ginnifer Goodwin Today

Since her time on Once Upon a Time she also voiced the protagonist in Disney's Zootopia, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast, and Sofia the First. She has also starred in Jordan Peele's modern-day version of The Twilight Zone, Heartstrings and the smash hit Why Women Kill as "Beth Ann" the disgruntled housewife of her cheating husband. 

Most recently, you can watch her in the 2022 series Pivoting as "Jodie".
