Kobe Bryant's unexpected death sent shockwaves across the world today, as the news broke this morning that the basketball icon lost his life in a helicopter crash. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others were killed in the fatal accident that occurred in Calabasas, California alongside Kobe.
The sudden news of 41-year-old Bryant's passing hit hard for many, including many of the biggest names in Hollywood. One of the most notable was L.A. Lakers superfan Jack Nicholson, who gave a rare phone Interview on Sunday in which he reminisced about watching Kobe for his entire career.
"My reaction is the same as almost all of L.A., Nicholson told CBS2. "Where everything was solid, there’s just a hole in the wall."
