Charlie's Angels is still broadcast throughout the world. The highly successful series from the seventies and eighties is one of TV history's classics. One of the much-admired angels from that time was Tanya Roberts who played "Julie Rogers".

Tanya Roberts's Career 

Roberts was a Charlie's Angel in the final seasons of the show from 1980 onwards. She replaced Shelley Hack, who played private detective "Tiffany Wells". Tanya played one of "Charlie's" three angels, alongside Cheryl Lad and Jaclyn Smith, right up until the end of the series in 1981. 

She went on to play further starring roles such as "Sheena" in the cult film by the same name. She appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine in October 1982 and even played a Bond girl alongside Roger Moore (†89) in A View To Kill in 1985.

Tanya Roberts Withdrew from the Public Eye 

After starring as a Bond girl, Tanya withdrew from Hollywood and acting. She took on small parts in low-budget films such as Night Eyes (1990) and Inner Sanctum (1991). She had several short guest appearances in various TV series from 1998 to 2001, including in That '70s Show

Roberts announced that she would be retiring from acting completely to look after her husband Barry Roberts (†59) in 2001. She played her very last role in the 2005 film Barbershop. The actress suddenly passed away at the age of 65 on January 4, 2021. May she rest in peace.
