JoJo Siwa, the former Dance Moms star has built an incredible empire and become an idol for countless kids around the world. Now she is coming forward with her truth!

JoJo Siwa Comes Out About Her Sexuality

JoJo Siwa has easily become one of the biggest names to come out of the Dance Moms franchise. She built an impressive empire, getting her own Nickelodeon and Disney channel shows and touring the world performing her kid-friendly songs and content.

Now she is opening up about her sexuality and supporting her fans who need it. On Instagram, JoJo came out as a part of the LGBTQ+ community, "My whole life, I just liked people."

"I always believed that my person was going to be my person and if that person happened to be a boy, great! And if that person happened to be a girl, great! I think in life, you know when you meet your person."

She is not ready to label her sexual identity but is happy to be her true self. When asked what her sexuality was by a fan sweet JoJo said, "I have thought about this, but the reason I'm not going to say this answer is because I don't really know this answer. I think humans are awesome, I think humans are really incredible people."

"Right now, I'm super duper happy and I want to share everything with the world but I also want to keep things in my life private until they are ready to be public. Right now what matters is that you guys know that no matter who you love, that i's okay. It's awesome and the world is there for you."

Somehow JoJo is even happier than she usually is! After being overwhelmed with support from her fans and friends JoJo said, "I'm just so happy! I'm the happiest I have ever been. Personally, I have never, ever, ever been this happy before and it feels really awesome."

She told Entertainment Tonight that for now, she is "single as a Pringle" but open to anything. "If [love] comes around great. And if it doesn't come around, also great. I have so much with what I'm doing right now that if anyone wants to join the party, I'm down!"

The GLAAD President Sarah Kate Ellis said, "JoJo Siwa's decision to share her truth with the world is a powerful moment that is being celebrated by the millions around the world who admire her. As one of the most influential young role models today, JoJo's story is a reminder for LGBTQ youth to love who they are and to find safe and welcoming environments to speak out."
