Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson, A Changed Man Since Finding Jesus

Phil has been so ingrained in his devotion to Christianity he has even taken heat for some racist and homophobic statements he had made before and comments about STD's being punishments for "immoral conduct."

After the backlash, Phil had to re-evaluate his thoughts and opened up on Good Morning America about what he had learned and that God loves everyone: "We're all part of one race, the human race", his mind especially altered when his son Jep adopted his African-American son Gus.

Now he and his sons Al, Jase, Jep, and Willie Robertson opened up on their podcast Unashamed about a shocking letter they received.

Phil's eldest son Al said the letter was from a 45-year old woman named Phyliss who said by performing a DNA search "she thinks that dad might be her dad." At first, Al didn't believe the letter because she was born after his Dad became a Christian but after doing the math they realized she may have been conceived immediately before he found Jesus.

Phil's son Jase also received a letter from Phyliss so they "started thinking, there's a 45-year old woman out there who doesn't know who her dad is, and she's looking. And I thought, even if it's not dad, she needs to know it's not dad." Finally, the sons explained to their parents the situation and Phil took a DNA test that ended up being a "99.9 percent match."

Big-hearted Phil said once he received the results he said "bring her on down" so he could meet his daughter and introduce her to the family. "We know that in all things, in all things, even sin, God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose," Phil explained to his boys.

Youngest brother adorable Jep Robertson had always wanted a sister and said "It was super awesome, I was so excited. It was like a dream come true!" Looks like Phyliss will be welcomed into the Dynasty with open arms!
