As one of the few female cast members during the construction of houses in Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Paige Hemmis dominated as the lead carpenter of the series. She admits that she's always been a tomboy for all of her life- she was never a fan of dolls, only the doll HOUSES, according to her website! Today, she still continues her favorite hobby: DIY. She also continues to remain as a vivacious television host and personality, but this time on the Hallmark Channel.

Paige has also stated on her website that she really loves to spend time with her friends, family and pets, now that she's not constantly on the road towards a new location. What many don't know about her: she loves to race-car drive, too! Her father was professional race-car driver, so it's only natural she likes to hit the road every now and then.
