Clémence Poésy in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was her first big English-speaking film role. Born October 30, 1982 in Paris, France, with a near Halloween birthday, there was no one more suited to take on the role of the French witch, "Fleur Delacour" than Clémence Poésy! 

Before her breakout role as "Fleur Delacour", Clémence was well-known on the French stage as well as for her first English-speaking role in the BBC miniseries, Gunpowder, Treason & Plot. In fact, she even won a Golden FIPA Award for her performance!

Clémence Poésy as Harry Potter's "Fleur Delacour" would come in 2005 and the role would change her career forever! Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth film in the hit novel turned-film series, and Clémence Poésy would join the cast as everyone's favorite French witch.

After The Goblet of Fire, Clémence Poésy would return for the last two films, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2. "Fleur" is best remembered for her charming personality and loyalty to "Harry", and while both "Harry" and "Ron" would pine after the gorgeous upperclassman, "Fleur" would eventually marry "Ron's" older brother "Bill".

Clémence Poésy has continued to rise to fame since her time as "Fleur Delacour" and you may also recognize the French actress from series and films including:

  • Heartless (2009)
  • as "Chuck's" French girlfriend "Eva" on Gossip Girl
  • and 127 Hours (2010)

Most recently, Clémence Poésy played "Barbara" in the hit action sci-fi film, Tenet as well as the French series En thérapie. You can see her in the 2022 TV mini-series The Essex Serpent and 2022 film 'Summer Frost', 2023 series  'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon'.
