Kanye West reaches out to Jay-Z

On the radio show, West announced that he reached out to his long time friend Jay-Z in regards to being his presidential running mate.

West said while he did reach out to Jay-Z, it may come as a bit of a surprise to Wyoming pastor Michelle Tidball, as he already asked her to be the vice president, should he win the 2024 election.

"She would be open to taking another position if we found another running mate," he said of the pastor.

West then also admitted he and Jay-Z haven't actually spoken in a long time, but said, "The fact that we ain’t talked in so long, that’s how you know we real brothers."

West held a rally over the weekend and talked on some controversial points.

Among the topics discussed, West revealed his views on abortion, as well as blasting the historical icon, Harriet Tubman, saying she "didn’t free enslaved people, but had them go work for other white people instead."

Jay-Z has yet to comment on where he stands politically with West.
