"Hello" singer Lionel Richie wants to do a new version of "We Are The World" for the COVID-19 victims today.

Originally the song brought together 45 incredible recording artists to create the hit "We Are The World" to raise funds for African Famine. The song was a great success, raising $63 Million in record sales. A new version was released 10 years ago to aid victims of the Haitian earthquake. 

Lionel Richie Wants To Help Coronavirus Victims

Now with spirits down and fears increasing all over the world, Lionel wants to do it again. He told People "What happened in China, in Europe, it came here. So if we don’t save our brothers there, it’s going to come home. It’s all of us. All of us are in this together." Lionel is now considering a new version to raise funds for Coronavirus victims.
