Chris Peluso: 'Mamma Mia' has lost one of its stars

Broadway star Chris Peluso has died at a young age. This was confirmed in mid-August by Linda Goodrich, Chair of the Music Theatre Department at the University of Michigan.

In doing so, she also shared a tribute on the theatre's official Instagram page: "The Michigan Musical Theatre family is heartbroken by the passing of our dear family member, the loving, charismatic and divinely gifted Chris Peluso," reads the statement.
