Tonight, August 20 2019, Queen and Adam Lambert will be playing New Orleans' Smoothie King Centre. As the band returns to the "Big Easy", Brian May has shared some amazing pictures of the lads from the good old days, when Freddie Mercury was still alive and John Deacon was still the bass player of this legendary foursome.

Brian May: "We've missed you!"

The picture of the band (posing next to a lamppost) was taken in the famous French Quarter of New Orleans - presumably either in 1974, 1975 or 1978. May aptly captioned the photo with some nostalgia: "Hello New Orleans ! We’ve missed you. And that ain’t no lie. Let’s rock !!! Bri"

Queen and Adam Lambert are touring the U.S. until August 23rd

May also celebrated the birthday of Queen's former bass player John Deacon, who left the band in 1997 already, by sharing some old snaps of his ex-bandmate. Deacon has been living a quite life in London ever since his retirement from the music business.

After New Orleans, Queen and Adam Lambert are heading to their final venues of the U.S. tour in Atlanta, Georgia (August 22nd) and Charlotte, North Carolina (August 23rd) and will continue their Rhapsody tour throughout Asia in 2020.
