Sarah Hyland is the latest celebrity to try out a bold new hairstyle while isolating at home! As Entertainment Tonight reports, Hyland took to Instagram on Tuesday to post selfies of her brand-new red tinted hair, which looks to have been inspired by none other than The Little Mermaid!

Hyland referenced The Little Mermaid when she posted about her new look, including a lyric from the song "Part of Your World"! "'I wanna be where the people are...' #QuaranTINT crew (I did this all by myself! Very proud ☺️)," Hyland wrote in her caption, also including a mermaid emoji.
And as Entertainment Tonight mentions, some of her famous friends shared their thoughts on her new look in the comments! "Omfg. Should I do this?! What day is it?! You look better than a New York pretzel from a shady cart in front @metmuseum," actress Michelle Trachtenberg said.
However, Justin Mikita— who's married to Hyland's Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson— seemed to think that Hyland's new look more closely resembled another iconic character! "MAGENTA! :::rocky horror voice::::" he said, referencing the maid in the cult classic horror musical.
