The actress claimed to be "paralyzed and scared" after the injury, but learned from it in a very positive way - she was extremely cautious about her stunt work in Mad Max: Fury Road.

The Orange is the New Black star Ruby Rose recently got injured while filming the superhero television series Batwoman. Ruby posed a graphic video of the emergency surgery she got while doing stunt work. She herniated two discs which eventually started to affect her spinal chord.

The fabulous Ellen Burstyn had to perform a very risky scene while filming The Exorcist. Director William Friedkin instructed a stuntman to yank Ellen on a wire, with the intention of making the scene look as real as possible. When the actress told Friedkin she was afraid of getting seriously hurt, he instructed the stuntman not to pull her so hard - then he went behind her back and told him "give it to her." The result: Burstyn was pulled so hard that she ended up flying across the room and landing on her coccyx. She was so furious -as it can be seen on the film- not only because Friedkin didn't care about her fear, but also because he actually wanted to get a quick shot of it before calling an ambulance

Justin Theroux was filming The Spy Who Dumped Me when he suffered a head injury. During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the actor explained he had a scooter accident: "I grab both breaks, skidded out and kinda went flying off the bike and landed on my head. I broke my head open,” he said

One of the greatest performances of the beautiful Halle Berry is the one in the 2003 film Gothika, where she played a psychologist who finds herself trapped in a sanitarium. The actress broke one of her forearms' bones during a scene which required her to struggle against a doctor (Robert Downy Jr.).
