In the past few years she has worked as an actress and model, which is not surprising since she won the Miss India pageant in 2006. Neha Kapur also represented India at the Miss Universe 2006 pageant, making the semifinals to the top 20!

During an interview with Vogue India, Neha Kapur revealed how she met her husband. Back in the days, the Big Bang Theory star visited India, and Neha received a call from a friend inviting her to a party, "'Oh, this really great guy is visiting from America,'" the model explained.
She decided to attend the event and eventually met "Raj." When he saw her he immediately offered to buy her a drink; then they talked for three hours and the rest is history. From that moment on they spent every day together until Nayyar had to go back to Los Angeles nine days later.
The love between Kunal Nayyar and Neha Kapur was evident
Three weeks after Kunal Nayyar went back to Los Angeles, Neha decided to visit him, showing that the romance between them was getting stronger and serious. The pair officially started dating in 2008 and it was in December 2011 when they tied the knot.
"My favourite moment was seeing Neha for the first time that day. It still gives me the shivers to think of how beautiful she looked," said Nayyar. They had 1000 guests at their wedding; after the big day she officially moved to Los Angeles permanently.
