'The Big Bang Theory': What Has The Cast Been Up To Since The Show Ended?

The last episode of The Big Bang Theory aired in May 2019. Since the end of the series, the stars have not been lazy and have landed several projects. TBBT fans can even look forward to two reunions!

The Big Bang Theory was on the air for twelve seasons and turned the seven main cast members into superstars. The series finale aired in May 2019 and by now, the cast has turned to other projects.

The Big Bang Theory: This is the cast now

Jim Parsons (46) played the main character "Sheldon Cooper" in The Big Bang Theory, and he is still maintaining a connection to his role. He has been the narrator of the CBS spin-off Young Sheldon since the first season in 2017. In 2020, he will star in the movie The Boys in the Band and in the series Hollywood.

Deadline reports that he will also produce the new comedy series Carla, reuniting him with his former TBBT co-star Mayim Bialik ("Amy", 43). She will supposedly be playing the main role in Carla.

Mayim Bialik has also been busy since the final episode of The Big Bang Theory. She continues to write her blog Grok Nation, where she talks about her life. Her acting career also continues to pick up speed. Aside from Carla she will also play a role in the movie The Inspector Chronicles.

In 2020, Mayim Bialik will make her directorial debut with As Sick as They Made Us, in which her former TBBT co-star Simon Helberg (38) will also be featured. Simon, aka "Howard", will also play a role in the movie Annette.

Kunal Nayyar has REALLY changed his appearance

Their former co-star Kunal Nayyar (38,"Raj") has also been busy ever since the end of The Big Bang Theory. He got a role in the movie Dogs Best Friend. He also changed his appearance - Kunal Nayyar now wears a full beard.

Melissa Rauch (39), who starred as "Bernadette" in The Big Bang Theory, starred in two movies and two series in 2019 including The Laundromat alongside Meryl Streep. She has no other projects lined up so far.

Johnny Galecki is going to be a father

"Leonard" actor Johnny Galecki (44) is enjoying family life right now. Him and his girlfriend Alaina are expecting their first child. When it comes to his professional life, he is apparently busy developing a comedy series called The Squad.

His on-screen wife Kaley Cuoco (33, "Penny") already has her next projects lined up after the end of The Big Bang Theory. She was already done filming the series Harley Quinn and The Flight Attendant when the TBBT finale aired. The gorgeous blonde also takes part in equestrian tournaments.
